Pruven is committed to adopting business practices that acknowedge our stewardship of the resouces around us and our desire to have as little negative impact on our environment as possible. To that end, we have implemented an environmental strategy for our business, including steps to becoming energy efficient, compliant with environmental regulations, and a recognized “green business.”
WHAT WE ARE DOING -
Pruven’s Environmental Management Plan
Running a green business means creating an environmentally-friendly, energy efficient workplace. Our environmental plan helps us minimize our eco-footprint by maintaining an online transaction management database, eliminating the need for paper files, using electronic signature technology when possible and recycling our paper waste.
Building Green
To the greatest extent possible, Pruven tries to use environmentally freindly products when rehabbing and maintaining properties including installing energy efficient heating and air conditioning systems, appliances, equipment and lighting when possible.
Green Office Products
Pruven works to buy environmentally friendly products for the office that are:
- Made from post-consumer, recycled materials
- Bio-based
- Non-toxic
- Energy efficient rated products, such as ENERGY STAR®
- Renewable and recyclable
- Locally produced, such as food that is locally grown and organic
